Expanscience appoints Jean Delomier as Chief Operating Officer

Expanscience, a family-owned French company specializing in skin health (Mustela) and the treatment of osteoarthritis (Piasclédine 300), and the first pharmaceutical and dermocosmetic laboratory in the world to be certified B Corp in 2018, announces the appointment of Jean Delomier as Chief Operating Officer. He joins the Laboratoires Expanscience Management Committee.

As Chief Operating Officer, Jean Delomier's main missions are to define and steer Laboratoires Expanscience's industrial policy, supply chain, subcontracting and investment plan at local and international level. He is also responsible for deploying Expanscience's operational excellence approach.

Jean Delomier takes up his new position in November 2021. He is based at Expanscience's head office in La Défense, as well as at the company's production and R&D innovation site in Epernon, Eure-Et-Loir.

On this site, certified ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, 64 million units will be produced in 2021 (50 million dermocosmetic units for the Mustela brand, 14 million pharmaceutical units, as well as the associated active ingredients).

Jean Delomier, 50, trained as an engineer. He has over 25 years' industrial experience, including 15 years in pharmaceuticals and cosmetics. After serving as plant manager at Henkel, he joined L'Oréal in 2012, where he successively held the positions of general manager of the Rambouillet and multisite sites in Vichy and La Roche Posay. In 2018, he joined Fareva as vice president operations europe pharma, where he notably managed seven industrial sites.
