Nuon Medical presents its new microneedling applications at Paris Packaging Week, with devices dedicated to skin and hair.
Nuon Medical announced the development of new microneedling products, a technique previously focused on aesthetic medicine, during Paris Packaging Week. This LED light specialist, which has made a name for itself in this field, is now exploring innovative applications for skin and hair care. This approach is demonstrated by the presentation of two devices, one for skin care and the other for hair health.
The microneedling technique
The microneedling method is based on the use of a device that creates microperforations in the skin using small needles. These controlled “lesions” generate a natural skin repair process, stimulating collagen and elastin production by activating fibroblasts. Beneficial effects include improved microcirculation and cell renewal, which contribute to smoother, younger-looking skin. By increasing skin permeability, these microperforations also enhance the penetration of active ingredients such as creams and serums.
A 3-in-1 solution
Nuon Medical presents a small, easy-to-handle device combining microneedling, LED light and hot-cold functions. LED light stimulates blood circulation and soothes the epidermis, while promoting cellular activity and the production of collagen and elastin, essential for skin regeneration. Thermal therapies also act on tissues, firming skin and tightening pores. The result is an immediate radiance boost, thanks to time-honored skincare techniques.
Restore healthy hair
Hair health is becoming a priority in the beauty world, affecting both men and women. Hair regrowth concerns around one in two men and one in four women. This device uses microneedling, combined with red light therapy and EMS microstimulation, to improve scalp health. The PLA microneedle patch provides targeted care and enhances ingredient absorption, while EMS technology stimulates hair follicles by increasing blood flow, delivering a supply of oxygen and nutrients necessary for hair growth.
This integrated approach to hair care, backed by scientific data, shows increased efficacy with regular use, particularly when combined with red light therapy. Today's advances in microneedling open up new perspectives in aesthetic skin and hair care.
