First assessment of the e-Cosmetic 360 show

Cosmetic 360, the international exhibition of innovation in the Perfumery-Cosmetic sector, was held in its exclusively digital edition on October 12 and 13: e-Cosmetic 360 is the first milestone of Cosmetic Relaunch Week, which is followed by the General States of Cosmetics on October 15, 2020.

Under the banner of "mindfulness innovation", this exceptional edition will have been marked by the changes in the work of the sector, the major contemporary societal and environmental issues, as well as the particular resonance of the context of the pandemic COVID-19.

The first elements of the balance sheet are:

More than 100 product, raw materials, services and technology innovations for three major trends that have emerged this year:

1. Green beauty, eco-consciousness
2. Beauty tech, connected consciousness
3. Test performance, deep consciousness

New contactless technologies, new formulations for skin sensitivity due to the wearing of masks, new biological care, alternatives to petrochemicals, creation of new bio-based packaging and zero waste, development of short circuits and upcycling, invention of personalized refills, new connected objects and AI, digital solutions for the factory of the future... and many innovations in the sector have marked the dynamics of exploration and reinvention of cosmetics.

The e-Cosmetic 360 digital platform is still available until 27 October, to continue professional exchanges and enjoy the replay of conferences and webinars.
A fully successful 4.0 appointment: AI, webinars, cats, videos, e-totems, based on a rich and intuitive digital platform, were there to stimulate and increase interactions between actors located all over the world.
Exhibitors were able to offer virtual showcases of their innovations, making their discovery more immersive. Visitors were able to navigate the heart of the show, discover every innovation, interact with exhibitors of their choice, participate in the many informative webinars and conferences throughout these two days.

The first digits of the edition are:

More than 55% of international exhibitors
67 countries represented at the event
21,800 interactions established on the platform (number of contacts and appointments established, number of unique views of exhibitors' booths, number of unique views of conferences and webinar exhibitors)
110 exhibitors including: a majority of SMEs, 16 start-ups, large groups (L'Oréal, LVMH, Dachser, Hitachi, Veeva...), cnrs and university laboratories.

e-COSMETIC 360 is one of the few industry shows to have been held in 2020 in its full version, since the Cosmetic Valley competitiveness cluster , the event's organizer, has been able to retain its DNA of creation and collective emulation, adding the added value of digital. The show expects to return in 2021 in its present version on October 13 and 14, registrations are already open.

e-COSMETIC 360 Awards :

The e-COSMETIC 360 Awards 2020 have distinguished the most beautiful innovations presented on the e-show by exhibitors in each of the following innovation areas: products, raw materials, services, technologies.

The e-COSMETIC 360 Awards are:

1. Commodities category: HERBAROM, French company
2. Product category: JANGUP SYSTEM, Korean company
3. Service category: KAIOSID, Swiss company
4. Tech category: PERFECT CORP, Taiwanese company

The new 2020 in connection with the digitalization of this year's show, the e-EXPOSANT prize, generating the most contacts, was awarded to GBC - Global Beauty Consulting, a French company.
