Organized in Paris by the International Perfume Foundation, the New Luxury Awards ceremony rewards sustainable perfumes and packaging.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The New Luxury Awards are presented annually to stimulate creativity in fragrance and packaging by embracing the new luxury code as a sustainability standard for authenticity, integrity and transparency.<\/p>

This competition also aims to create and empower emerging brands, new perfumers, new designers and perfumery\/packaging students and make this industry a leader in sustainability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To enter the competition, perfumers must comply with the New Luxury Code and the perfume must meet the International Perfume Foundation's sustainability standards for certification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The New Luxury Awards ceremony was held in Paris at an olfactory dinner orchestrated by Los Angeles sommelier and perfumer Rachel Binder and David Piot, a talented young chef. The evening was hosted by La Laura Paris and the band ColoKaterre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year, the trophies were created by Muriel Balenci and Giovanni Nicola, 2 French artists living in Murano.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the Student category:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Rondo Sandyakala by William S. Wijaya (Indonesia), a fresh and amber fragrance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the category Perfumers :<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Elixir of Heaven by Anuja Fran\u00e7ois Raja (France) with a fragrance of myrrh and incense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the Brand category :<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Surinam by Fran\u00e7oise Rapp (France) for Flowering Pharmacy USA, a powdery and woody chypre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Special Award:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

White by Sri Kudaravalli (India) for Xila Apothic with the floral scent of jasmine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This student created her perfume and brand in 6 months while attending the IPF Teacher's Academy. Sri Kudaravalli was congratulated by His Excellency Jawed Ashraf, Ambassador of India in Paris.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the sustainable packaging category:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
