{"id":1507,"date":"2017-11-24T08:00:22","date_gmt":"2017-11-24T06:00:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/xd3kj9bvqee.preview.infomaniak.website\/?p=1507"},"modified":"2017-11-17T16:17:41","modified_gmt":"2017-11-17T14:17:41","slug":"site-beacon-of-verescence-a-baths-inaugurated-more-big-four","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.industries-cosmetiques.fr\/en\/site-beacon-of-verescence-a-baths-inaugurated-more-big-four\/","title":{"rendered":"Verescence's flagship site in Mers Les Bains inaugurates its largest oven"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 1\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<p>Verescence, the world leader in bottles for the perfume and cosmetics industries, inaugurated on November 14th a new oven and presented the numerous improvements made on its site in Mers-Les-Bains (Somme).<br \/>\nAs part of the \"Excellence 2018\" program and more specifically \"Mers 2018\" dedicated to the transformation of the Mers site, a budget of 30 million euros has been allocated to modernize the plant, including 11 million for the reconstruction of furnace 6.<br \/>\nInaugurated after major work that reduced energy consumption by 15% and CO2 emissions by more than 40%, the reconstruction of furnace 6 reflects one of the axes of the group's CSR strategy in reducing its environmental impact.<br \/>\nThis furnace is the largest in the group and one of the largest bottle furnaces in the world with a production capacity of 700,000 bottles per day. It produces Xtra White glass, a glass of exceptional quality highly appreciated by the perfume industry for its brilliance and transparency.<br \/>\nThe reconstruction was also an opportunity to modernize the entire production area by making numerous improvements in terms of both efficiency and working conditions.
