Glass production represents, on average, 70% of the environmental impact. Electricity consumption accounts for 37% of the impact of glass production, which justifies the priority given to this resource.
\nSince 2017 the site's electricity consumption now comes solely from French 100% renewable resources.<\/p>

The extraction and transportation of the components used in glass production account, on average, for 30% of environmental impact. This rate is reduced by the proximity of the raw material: sand is extracted 200 km from the plant and transported by boat.<\/p>\n
