For the first time, PAT is launching 2 natural active ingredients developed in its R&D laboratory<\/span><\/span>for several years to enrich its own catalog of active ingredients. These are derived from plants that have undergone complete optimization<\/span><\/span> with PAT milking plant technology<\/span><\/span>\u00ae<\/span><\/span> to produce an innovative extract from the roots. PAT's products are mastered from seed to extract, and even tested for biological efficacy.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The two products on offer, derived from different plant species, have different<\/span><\/span> cosmetic claims in \"<\/span><\/span>\u00a0complexion radiance\" and \"<\/span><\/span>\u00a0hydration<\/span><\/span>\u00a0\"These are supported by a screening of biological activities.<\/span><\/span> They will be marketed on a non-exclusive basis to cosmetics companies looking for effective, innovative products. One of these active ingredients will be on display in the show's Innovation Zone, highlighting the Group's high level of innovation and ability to develop rare plant ingredients.<\/span><\/span><\/p>

PAT will thus benefit from the show's international reach,<\/span><\/span> which<\/span><\/span> brings together the major players in the<\/span><\/span> Cosmetics sector<\/span><\/span>\u00a0(laboratories, major brands, manufacturers and distributors), to showcase its technologies and expertise. The Group will also be presenting<\/span><\/span> its innovative PAT milking plant\u00ae production technology on its stand, and the possibilities for customized collaboration.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Further launches are scheduled for late 2016-early 2017. This new business development strategy perfectly complements the company's custom research activity for products exclusive to certain major manufacturers.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Acquisition of Couleurs de Plantes confirmed<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

The Annual General Meeting of Couleurs de Plantes held on March 18 approved the acquisition by Plant Advanced Technologies of 51% of the capital of Couleurs de Plantes, a company specializing in the production and extraction of plant-based colorants.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

This acquisition enables PAT to integrate unique complementary know-how and offers strong synergies, particularly in cosmetics, where demand for natural colorants is increasingly strong.<\/span><\/span> Couleurs de Plantes will contribute to improved results in fiscal 2016.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
