The Pochet Group and ABO Wind, a German developer of renewable energy projects, have announced the signing of a 20-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) for the commissioning of the developer's largest photovoltaic park in France.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Located in France, the photovoltaic park, with an installed capacity of around 20 MWp, will be in operation by early 2025, and will accompany the packaging player's project to build France's first electric furnace for luxury bottles, to be installed at the Pochet du Courval plant in Guimerville, Normandy.<\/p>

As part of its \"sustainable beauty\" CSR roadmap and in line with its decarbonization plan, the Pochet Group is taking action to reduce its environmental impact, by sourcing green energy and securing the long-term purchase price of electricity. A major project under the decarbonization plan, the electric furnace, which will be operational by the end of 2024, will be partly supplied by green energy from the future photovoltaic plant. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"In pursuit of our decarbonization plan and our goal of reducing our CO2 emissions by 50 % by 2033, this long-term power purchase agreement will enable us to produce sustainably for a different kind of luxury.\"<\/em>emphasizes Benoit Marszalek, Pochet du Courval's Director of Operations.
