Silab received an award at the International Cosmetics Innovation Conference (Icic) for its Liftilience active ingredient, a multi-purpose tensor extracted from chestnuts.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Thursday, April 24, 2025, in Shanghai, Silab won the Icic Award in the category Technology Innovative Ingredient Benchmark<\/em> for its natural film-forming active ingredient Liftilience.<\/p>

To develop this active ingredient, the SME drew on its mastery of natural ingredients and its expertise in polysaccharide biopolymerization. The company has perfected a unique technology, FHB technology, to obtain functionalized helical biopolymers from chestnut polysaccharides. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Combining controlled hydrolysis and ionic functionalization, this technology gives Liftilience an optimized tensing effect and adhesion properties scientifically demonstrated by Silab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
