Neolipyl, a repairing active ingredient derived from cornflower, received second prize at the PCHi Fountain Awards, highlighting its effectiveness in treating lipid disorders in dry skin.<\/strong><\/p>\n

On March 18, 2026, Silab's new natural repairing active, Neolipyl, was honored at the PCHi Fountain Awards, coming second in the \u201cSkin Barrier Repair\u201d category. This active ingredient specifically targets lipid disorders in dry skin, and was recognized behind a solution from Chinese company Shenzhen Dieckmann Biotechnology Co. Brigitte Closs-Gonthier, Chairman of the Management Board at Silab, explains: \u00ab We're delighted to receive this award, which recognizes all the work we've done to decipher the characteristics of dry skin and propose an appropriate solution. For the development of this active ingredient, we carried out an unprecedented modeling study, drawing on our dual expertise in omics technologies, notably through a lipidomic study, and in optical biopsies. This enabled us to establish for the first time the lipid signature of dry skin: the results show a weakening of the composition and structure of the lipid matrix.<\/em> \"<\/p>
