CSI Thermoformage, specialist and leader in the design and manufacture of customized, eco-responsible packaging, innovates in the thermoformed wedge market with its ThermoDecor by CSI brand. This innovative process uses laser engraving on plastic blisters (APET, PS) to create aesthetically pleasing, low-environmental-impact, customizable boxes and cases.
\nBy integrating this technique into its offering, CSI is responding to the growing challenges and expectations of the luxury goods market (cosmetics, perfumery, spirits).<\/p>\n

ThermoD\u00e9cor by CSI is the result of several years of R&D and a partnership with a specialist in decorative laser applications.<\/p>

The result is a decor with unique properties, exclusive on the market:<\/p>\n

1\/ Aesthetics: the decoration allows for very fine, chiselled shapes (unlike those produced by traditional printing techniques), bringing lightness and elegance to packaging, responding definitively to the trend towards minimalism. What's more, the process can be used to decorate the inside of bottles and tubes.<\/p>\n

2\/ Eco-responsible: the process is applicable to recycled plastic. It requires little energy and does not alter the product's recyclability. The wedge is directly decorated, without the use of inks or glued cardboard.<\/p>\n

3\/ The decor can be customized in very small series.

After concretely validating the company's eco-responsible management in 2017 by obtaining ISO 14001 certification, CSI Thermoformage is making a difference with its factual eco-responsible practice:<\/p>\n

- The use of plastics of recycled origin to the tune of 88 % of its production (in 2018), a very high proportion for the plastics processing industry,
\n- Exemplary management of its offcuts and manufacturing waste: 99 % recycled in products, 1% incinerated, zero landfill (2018 figure),
\n- Selective sorting at 100 %.<\/p>\n
