BIODIS+ Technology: Unlocking New Performance Frontiers in Health and Beauty Through Nanoemulsions

Among its latest developments is Biodis+, a patent-pending nanoemulsion technology created through High Pressure Homogenization (HPH) that measurably boosts active penetration while preserving superior sensoriality.

High Pressure Homogenization:Expanding the Frontiers of Innovation

HPH is already known in the industry, but at ANJAC it takes on a new dimension. The Group combines two industrial-scale machines with two additional pilot units for agile product development. Mastery of process parameters allows formulators to create stable, homogeneous formulas, even with complex or high-fat phases, while exploring novel textures such as ultra-fluid skincare or aqueous, alcohol-free perfumes, ideal for sensitive skin. For a CDMO, this capability represents a true competitive advantage as the technology requires significant investments, deep knowledge of its operation and regular use to fully unlock its potential.

Biodis+ Technology: measurable efficacy, enhanced sensoriality

With Biodis+ Technology, a specific combination of ingredients, ANJAC harnesses the full power of HPH to develop new-generation beauty offers that enhance both ingredient performance and sensorial experience. Brands now have the possibility to obtain their own nanoemulsion, which can be incorporated as an ingredient blend into their products. These deliver three measurable benefits:

  • Improved vectorization of actives for optimized efficacy
  • Reinforced stability and better dispersion of ingredients
  • Ultra-premium sensoriality with fine, gliding, ultrafluid textures

Biodis+ boosts the UV protection/SPF of formulas without increasing filter levels, enabling SPF 50+ performance with a reduced quantity of filters.* For the North American market, ANJAC now offers OTC compliant products made in USA. In skincare, the Surgery Skincare line with Biodis+ HA300, a hyaluronic acid nanoemulsion, achieved a +17% increase in active concentration in the epidermis, thanks to deeper diffusion (Fig. 1). In-house consumer testing of the formulas with a Visia device also showed a significant reduction of fine lines around the eye contours and plumper lips (Fig. 2).
