DKSH France Exceeds Its Carbon Reduction Target and Expands Its CSR Requirements

DKSH France has been shaping its CSR policy for more than ten years using management tools such as’EcoVadis, the carbon footprint assessment, and a recently conducted double materiality analysis. The EcoVadis Platinum rating, achieved in 2022, has been maintained to date.

–32 % of emissions between 2022 and 2025

The 32 % reduction in greenhouse gas emissions over the 2022–2025 period is based on concrete actions: optimizing logistics flows and modes of transportation, purchasing more sustainable packaging, and improving data quality. By 2025, 100 % of the vehicle fleet had been replaced with hybrid or electric models. Eco-driving training, implemented in late 2025 with WeNow, rounds out this section.

Assessed Value Chain and Supplier Programs

DKSH France is expanding its assessment of CSR practices to include its strategic ingredient suppliers and logistics partners, through structured support programs. «Our goal of fully engaging our suppliers is a key priority, essential to the success and consistency of our sustainability efforts.», says Marie-Paule Guay, sustainability manager at DKSH France. At the same time, the company is developing a portfolio of products classified as sustainable, in line with its 2026 goals.

Biodiversity, EUDR, and «10 Pallets for the Planet» Logistics»

A biodiversity survey was conducted in 2025 at the Miribel site, during which 16 bird species were identified and 7 tree species were recorded. In terms of compliance, the EUDR plan calls for the identification of affected products in France, traceability, and the collection of supplier information to ensure compliance by the end of 2026. Regarding logistics, collaboration with Houtch, a member of the Flo Palette network, includes the program «10 Pallets for the Planet»; in 2025, 38 trees were planted through this initiative.

Internal initiatives include remote work for up to 2 days per week, resulting in 8.77 tCO₂ avoided, and waste management (1,490.5 kg recycled through a service provider). DKSH France also mentions charitable initiatives planned for 2025, through donations and local educational projects. «We are achieving this goal by balancing economic performance, environmental responsibility, and the well-being of the community.», says Jean-Dominique Foulon, managing director of DKSH France.

The 2026 objectives outline several milestones: 24.5 % of revenue generated by sales of products classified as sustainable; assessment of logistics service providers and suppliers of strategic ingredients; 100 % employees trained on ethical issues and respect in the workplace; a gender parity index above 85/100; an engagement survey «Your Voice» greater than 68 %. The EUDR plan calls for compliance by the end of 2026.
