MakeUp In NewYork 2025 Innovation & Trends Awards: 101 products judged!

Some 52 exhibitors took part in the IT Awards MakeUp in NewYork 2025, presenting a total of 101 make-up and skincare products, including seven in the Accessories category, 49 in the Formulation category, 25 in the Full Service category and 23 in the Packaging category. Of the new products presented in these categories, 21 were also in the running for the Ocean Beauty Award, a special prize launched as part of the focus on ocean beauty at the 2025 edition of MakeUp in. The award recognizes innovations developed using ingredients or materials of marine origin.

Participation in the competition was free of charge, and exhibitors were able to enter up to three new products. The innovative nature of the products presented was assessed by a jury of experts in cosmetic innovation, on the basis of criteria such as sensoriality, ease of use, technical performance, ingredients and raw materials, environmental impact, commercial relevance and color and light effects.

The products with the highest scores in this evaluation are finalists in each competition category.
