On May 8 and 9, 2025, Wheaton will be present at LuxePack New York (over 5,300 attendees in 2024), the leading international trade show for high-quality packaging and innovative design. Participating for the third year running, the Brazilian company will present solutions that combine sophistication, technology and sustainability, for the perfumery and cosmetics industry.
Renowned for over a century's experience in glass packaging production, Wheaton will be showcasing a vast portfolio of techniques that add aesthetic and sensory value to packaging, enabling customizations in line with global design trends. The commitment to innovative solutions is reflected in the constant evolution of these finishes, ensuring that every bottle becomes a competitive differentiator for customers.
New features include new effects applied to the interior color process:
- Pearlescent interior color: gives glass a sophisticated, shimmering sheen
- Prismatic interior color: changes hue depending on viewing angle, creating a dynamic and surprising effect;
- Metallic interior color: adds a high-end finish with intense brilliance.
In addition to these innovations, the company will also be presenting Confetti Painting, a modern, vibrant decorating technique that gives a playful, differentiated look, and Marble Effect Paint, which reproduces the sophistication of natural stone with a touch of exclusivity.
Combining tradition and modernity, the company reaffirms its position as a strategic partner for brands seeking top-of-the-range packaging, expanding the variety of techniques, effects and finishes to develop exclusive projects.
Innovative bottle design
A selection of new standard bottles that reflect the harmony between form, function and visual identity will also be in the spotlight. The Harmony line, represented by the new 250 ml hexagonal bottle (LB-0588-S), stands out for its well-defined geometry and carefully studied ergonomics, offering a differentiated tactile experience. Its faceted design captures and reflects light, creating a play of light and reflections that enhances the packaging and makes it ideal for fragrances associated with sensations of lightness and balance.
Three new bottles have been added to the Inspiration line, maintaining the visual identity of the range. The MB-1540-SN model features a cylindrical shape with soft lines, distinguished by the elegance and sophisticated finish of the push-bottom, a design that requires advanced techniques to ensure the precise distribution of the glass, in harmony with the depth of the bottom, resulting in a bottle that combines aesthetic beauty and functionality. Its curvature enhances the refraction and natural brilliance of the glass, creating a visual impact with a unique identity.
Completing the range, the LB-0521-N1 is inspired by the cut of precious stones, bringing a faceted design that captures the essence of luxury.
Finally, with a capacity of 75 ml, the MB-1272-N1 features a rectangular base with a modern, balanced look. Made from high-quality clear glass, its finish delicately reflects the light, highlighting the aesthetics of the material. The thick base ensures stability, while the curved detail at the bottom adds a contemporary touch.
The Surprise line, meanwhile, features three new bottles, with a screw closure that makes it easy to fill the contents or separate the components for recycling. The 100 ml bottle, meanwhile, has a versatile, timeless shape, with a square base and rounded corners that adapt naturally to the hand, facilitating handling and the fragrance experience.
An ongoing commitment to sustainable development
Building on its heritage of innovation and commitment to sustainable development, Wheaton continues to invest in optimizing processes and materials that promote a cleaner, more efficient production cycle. Since 2023, 100 % of the electricity consumed in the São Bernardo do Campo industrial park has come from a certified renewable water source, reducing the company's Scope 2 emissions to zero.

The Ecoglass line reinforces this commitment with bottles developed to maximize the sustainable benefits of glass in the circular economy. The commitment to refill bottles is one of the company's pillars, encouraging conscious consumption and waste reduction. One of the highlights is the 200 ml refill bottle, made with less glass (-20 % by mass) than conventional models, which translates into lower energy consumption and a reduction of around 15 % in CO2 emissions. Its screw closure facilitates filling and encourages reuse of the packaging.
"Participating in LuxePack is always a valuable opportunity for us to show how innovation and sustainability can go hand in hand. Our commitment goes beyond design, as we seek to develop packaging that tells stories, arouses emotions and elevates the consumer's experience with brands.says Ricardo Lopes, Wheaton Group Sales and Marketing Director. Every bottle we develop reflects this quest for excellence, without sacrificing sustainability."
