Cosmetic Valley joins the EcoBeautyScore consortium and continues to expand its national network

After taking part in the Spice working group (for Sustainable packaging initiative for cosmetics), which studies the environmental impact of packaging, Cosmetic Valley joins the EcoBeautyScore consortium, whose ambition is to have a common methodology and a tool to measure the ecological impact of cosmetic products. As an Associate Member, Cosmetic Valley will represent the cluster's member SMEs, brands and ingredient suppliers within the consortium, and will relay information about the consortium to its members, particularly SMEs.

Cosmetic Valley's Board of Directors, meeting on February 10, 2022, also validated the membership of 20 new members based in various regions: Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, Centre-Val de Loire, Ile-de-France, Normandie, Nouvelle-Aquitaine, Occitanie and Pays de la Loire. These new members illustrate the cluster's national dimension and the importance of developing French plant resources.
