Cosmewax inaugurates a high-tech cosmetics plant in Puzol

Cosmewax has opened the doors of its new factory in Puzol, Valencia, combining technological innovation with a commitment to sustainability. This 5,100 m² structure significantly increases the company's production capacity and integrates advanced traceability and resource management systems.

Cosmewax recently inaugurated a modern facility in Puzol, Spain. Covering an area of 5,100 m², the plant is equipped with 11 reactors and 5 filling lines, enabling production of up to 7,000 tons of cosmetics per year. This expansion translates into a 94.4 % increase in production capacity, responding to growing international demand.

Technology and sustainability at the heart of the plant

The Puzol plant is designed to be a benchmark for sustainability and technology. The integration of artificial intelligence and digital systems optimizes cosmetic formulas and increases efficiency, detecting defects in real time. In addition to a carbon footprint reduced by 56.8 % since 2018, thanks to the installation of photovoltaic panels and circular economy practices, the plant also favors the in-house production of osmosis water, reducing transport emissions and improving waste management.

Innovation in cosmetics formulation

More than 20 technicians work in the R&D laboratory to develop innovative cosmetic formulas, adapted to current trends and complying with international regulatory standards. The development of «waterless» cosmetics reflects Cosmewax's commitment to sustainability. «Intelligent» by design, the plant received ISO 22716, SMETA and RSPO certifications even before the completion of its first year of operation, underlining its commitment to quality and ethics.

This opening marks a milestone for Cosmewax, which, while increasing its production capacity, continues to rely on technology to meet the expectations of its many international customers. With sales expected to reach 38 million euros by 2025, Cosmewax is firmly positioned in the global cosmetics sector, highlighting its expertise in skin care, waterless products and hair removal.
