The perfumery industry will gather in Geneva from June 24 to 27, 2024, for the World Perfumery Congress (WPC).
For the first time, seven major producers of natural ingredients from around the world will join forces to share their values and commitment.
Designed and organized by Resperfuma, the Naturals Corner will feature Agroforex Company (Benjoin and Aquilaria from Laos), Enio Bonchev (Rose Damascena from Bulgaria), Jacarandas (Ylang Ylang from Madagascar), Jasmine CE.Pvt.Ltd. They have a deep understanding of the communities they work directly with, take action to preserve nature and biodiversity in their regions, and invest in state-of-the-art industrial facilities to produce the highest quality natural ingredients that make up the creative palette of the most sustainable perfumers.
Founded in 1992, Agroforex specializes in adding value to local natural resources, from primary processing to export. In Laos, Agroforex is committed to the sustainable and responsible production of benzoin and aquilaria (agarwood).
Enio Bonchev is a Bulgarian family business that has been growing Bulgaria's two most traditional oil-producing plants, rose (Bulgarian Rosa Damascena) and lavender, since 1909.
As a producer of aromatic raw materials and essential oils, Jacarandas International creates certified farmers' supply chains for emblematic ingredients from the island of Madagascar, such as ylang-ylang and pink berries.
Jasmine Concrete Exports Private Limited is a family business established in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, since 1991. Initially a producer of grandiflorum, the company has since become a manufacturer of floral extracts and natural extracts based on oils, resins, herbs, spices and extracts of roots, barks, seeds, leaves and gums.
In particular, it has played a leading role in the production of vetiver in India.
Based in Latin America, Nelixia produces 100 % natural ingredients such as essential oils, concretes, resinoids, spices and herbs. In particular, it will be showcasing guaiac wood from Paraguay and cardamom from Guatemala.
The Société coopérative agricole des plantes à parfum de Provence (SCA3P), founded in 1979 in Provence, is a cooperative of over 200 member producers. It offers its customers pure and natural French 100 % essential oils, conventional and organic, produced in France with respect for the environment and sold without intermediaries to ensure fair remuneration for producers.
Fascinated and inspired by the earth's natural resources, Verger focuses on the ethical sourcing and sustainable growth of natural extracts, bringing them to the world. At WPC 2024, the company will be showcasing black pepper and spices from Sri Lanka, as well as its flagship ingredient "Ceylon cinnamon" and its biochemical composition.
The voices of the seven companies present at Naturals Corner will be heard by Elisa Aragon (Nelixia), Filip Lissicharov (Enio Bonchev) and Raja Palaniswamy (Jasmine CE PVT) at a conference hosted by Dominique Roques, founder of Balsam Consulting, on Wednesday June 26.
