The Idec Group, through its filiale Idec Santé, has been awarded 1st prize for Best Construction Site in France 2025 with a score of 99.59/100, a prestigious distinction awarded by the ESTP's Passion BTP association. This competition, organized by engineering students, aims to highlight the most exemplary achievements in the construction sector, based on demanding criteria: innovation, safety, environmental impact and transmission of knowledge.
An exceptional customer: Sisley
The winning project is Sisley's future cosmetics production site in Vendôme (Loir-et-Cher), covering an area of 17,500 m².
This project was distinguished by the integration of innovative solutions right from the design phase: digital mock-up (BIM), augmented reality for progress monitoring, enhanced safety features, architectural choices optimizing both energy efficiency and operating comfort.
As part of an ambitious environmental approach, it is aiming for Breeam certification at Excellent level. It incorporates state-of-the-art equipment to reduce its carbon footprint:
- 1,772 photovoltaic roof panels
- Geothermal power plant
- Energy recovery systems
- Intelligent stormwater management
- Sustainable, eco-designed materials
Passing on, training, inspiring
The Best Construction Site in France 2025 award also recognizes the Idec Group's strong commitment to the transmission of know-how. Last April, the Sisley site welcomed ESTP students for an immersive day combining technological demonstrations, meetings with Idec Santé teams and a guided tour of the site. An educational initiative that left a lasting impression and earned the site a prize from the student jury, underlining the strong links between the Group and the academic world.
Since its creation, the Idec Group has made welcoming and training young people a cornerstone of its development strategy. Every year, some 50 interns and work-study students join our teams, representing almost 10 % of the total effectif. 73 % of them sign a permanent contract at the end of their career with the Group. An ambitious HR policy, designed as a genuine springboard to employment and the construction of tomorrow's real estate projects.
"This project fully reflects the Idec Group's culture, based on transmission, excellence and commitment. We are parEculièrement fiers, within the Human Resources DirecEon, to have piloted this project. The teams in the field are fully committed, aware of the importance of sharing our know-how with young talent. It's by forging these concrete links with new generaEons that we are building the future of our sector".says Elodie Sanchez, HRBP - Idec Group
National recognition
This first place in 2025 confirms the Idec Group's positioning as a benchmark player in the realization of complex, sustainable and innovative projects.
The competition awards ceremony was held in the prestigious setting of the Saint-Gobain Tower, in the heart of the La Défense district of Paris. The event brought together the main players in the construction sector who had competed, alongside students from ESTP Paris, the competition organizers and jurors.
"This award represents a real fierté for the entire Idec Group. It pays tribute to the remarkable work carried out on an exemplary site, driven by committed, passionate teams resolutely focused on innovation, sustainable performance and the transmission of know-how. This distinction fully reflète our vision: to build differently, combining high technical standards, environmental responsibility and a sense of community. It rewards an ambitious approach and inspires our determination to raise construction standards on each and every one of our projects."says Tony Morais, Managing Director of Idec Ingénierie and partner in the Idec Group.
"The Sisley project required a high level of expertise, both in design and execution. I would like to congratulate all our teams for their exemplary commitment and recognized know-how, which were decisive in meeting the many challenges of this exceptional project. The close synergy developed with the Sisley teams was also a key success factor. It's a great fierté to see our work distinguished in this way and to contribute, through our high standards and passion for our craft, to such emblematic projects."says Cédric De Wavrechin, Managing Director of Idec Santé (ESTP B 1998 alumni).
