Winner of the EcoVadis Platinum Medal in 2024, and the first Korean company to obtain the FSC label created by an organization whose mission is to promote responsible forest management worldwide, FSKorea has made respect for the environment one of its major concerns.

In the field of brushes, one of the first steps was to do away with the need for glue. Launched in 2023, the Go Brush is a patented glue-free product whose handle, ferrule and tuft can be disassembled and separated for sorting and recycling. The three separable components also enable users to interchange handle, ferrule and tuft for a customized brush!
This year, the South Korean company has reinvented the brush and launched Go Squeeze Brush, a brush that integrates the product formula in its lower part. The brush features a squeeze bottle integrated into the handle, which can be filled with foundation, highlighter or blush.
In addition, paper has replaced vinyl to cover the brush bristles, and the brush is presented in an rPET box.
Still on the subject of brushes, Na-mu Brushes are made in part from sawdust and wood processing waste! FSKorea offers a wood-plastic composite (WPC for wood plastic composite) in its packaging as an alternative to PCR plastic. Composed of 30 to 50 % of PP or PE combined with sawdust or wood processing waste, WPC can be used for brush handles and compact cases. For its Na-mu brushes, FSKorea has replaced the wooden handle with this new material. "We don't cut new trees! WPC can be shaped into many different shapes and sizes. What's more, it resembles wood in grain and texture, and is less expensive.says FSKorea.
Eco-responsible packaging

FSKorea also offers recyclable containers fitted with a pump or dropper, taking into account their impact on the environment. Recent products include a durable, compact new-generation pump with no metal spring. This pump's plastic spring allows the user to benefit from a pressure force similar to that of traditional metal springs, with an almost uniform flow rate during use, while enabling the manufacturer to make energy and carbon savings (reduced manufacturing process thanks to functions with far fewer parts than conventional pumps).
Also in the catalog: a recyclable airless pump without metal or plastic springs. The housing and spring are a single component. Made exclusively from polypropylene, this pump is recyclable and contains no POM.
FSKorea has also designed a springless, self-filling dropper. Suction and evacuation are by means of a button made of TPE, a thermoplastic elastomer mixed with plastics and rubber. The container is designed to be recycled by maximizing the PP/TPE ratio.
"Looking ahead to 2025, we expect the market to increasingly favor environmentally friendly products. Demand for sustainable solutions is growing, and FSKorea is committed to responding to this trend. We are focusing on the development and promotion of innovative products".says company CEO Jae Kwang Hwang.
Founded in 1988, FSKorea posted sales of $35 million in 2023. Some 95 % of sales are exported. Asia represents 40 % of the company's sales, Europe 20 %, the United States 30 %, and other countries account for the remaining 10 %. Its objectives: to continue innovating to make its products monomaterial and metal-free, and to improve its manufacturing capacities. FSKorea - which produces mainly in Korea but also in China - will invest in automatic production machines in 2025.
