Solabia acquires a majority stake in PolymerExpert

Founded in 1972, Solabia develops, produces and distributes natural active and functional ingredients. The company has announced the acquisition of a majority stake in PolymerExpert, an innovative company specializing in the development and marketing of high-tech polymers. 

This acquisition illustrates the Group's strategy of developing its activities in the dynamic cosmetics market, enabling it to broaden its range of ingredients. It will also help consolidate the company's positions in the health sector, by offering new development opportunities in high-potential markets.

Founded in 2000 by Marc Dolatkhani, PolymerExpert, based in Pessac (33), offers a range of high value-added products for the cosmetics market, featuring high-performance polymers of natural origin for applications such as skin care, sun protection and make-up. The Gironde-based company also develops implantable and non-implantable ophthalmic and medical devices.) 

With an international presence, PolymerExpert controls the entire value chain, from R&D to production, in compliance with the most stringent standards and the concept of plant-based chemistry.
