EcoVadis announces acquisition of human rights platform Ulula

EcoVadis has announced the strategic acquisition of Ulula, a specialist in human rights data and technology. This acquisition will enable EcoVadis to strengthen its support for companies in their efforts to improve working conditions throughout their supply chain, while respecting compliance rules and duties of care.

Automated employee surveys, grievance management systems, analytical dashboards...: the Ulula platform includes practical tools that enable companies to directly engage workers and communities, identify human and labor rights risks in supply chains, and obtain actionable insights based on real-time data, facilitating access to corrective action.

With the integration of Ulula, EcoVadis aims to improve the accuracy of supplier information by obtaining regular feedback directly from workers and their communities on working conditions and respect for human rights.

"The combination of Ulula and EcoVadis Ratings enhances the depth of data on worker voice and human rights. This integration improves the ability of companies to implement and measure human rights policies and practices through direct feedback from workers, which is essential to meet regulatory requirements. Integrated with IQ Plus, our CSR risk mapping platform, it provides a complete solution for global due diligence and modern slavery regulations."says EcoVadis.

As a separate platform, Ulula can be used in conjunction with other EcoVadis solutions. Its addition to the EcoVadis suite does not affect the company evaluation process or score.
