Some 81 projects from 13 countries were received for the6th edition of The Cosmetic Wins International Research and Innovation Competition created by Cosmetic Valley in 2015.
The two prizes (Academic And Industrial Awards) will be awarded by a reference jury to distinguish the winners from six finalists in this year's competition.
Retained by the selection committee composed of industry professionals and international scientific experts, the files were to carry an innovation or research work applicable to perfumery-cosmetic in all areas of the sector: ingredients, formulation, testing, process, packaging, chemistry, biotechnology, digital, distribution, new products and services.
Each of the winners will receive a prize of 10,000 euros and will benefit from a Cosmetic Valley accompaniment
In the running this year:
Academic category: AgroParisTech (France) for its library of new bio-based uva filters, University of Pau and Pays de l'Adour (France) for a new generation of bio-based microgels, and the Central School ofLyon (France) for an augmented human finger.
Industrial category: PolyBridge (France) for a plastic-free packaging concept, Roelmi HPC (Italy) for a texturizing powder, representing an ethical alternative to microplastic powders and InventionBio (Poland) for its intelligent delivery system based on green chemicals.
The awards ceremony will be broadcast live on "Cosmetic Valley TV" on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at 5 p.m.
