Unipex distributes Algaia SA's range of texturizers

Algaia SA has decided to entrust Unipex with the distribution of its range of texturizing specialties derived from seaweed, for the cosmetics, industrial and medical device sectors in the France, Benelux, Maghreb and West Africa geographical areas from January 1, 2018 .
These products are manufactured at the Lannilis plant in Brittany, providing direct access to seaweed, most of which is processed fresh from the Iroise Sea. Today, France is the 2nd largest producer of seaweed in continental Europe, with almost 100,000 tonnes harvested each year, half of which is destined for Algaia SA.
Algaia SA also has a research and development center in Saint - Lô in the Manche department, inaugurated in October 2016 and featuring a host of sophisticated equipment and an industrial pilot unit. The R&D center boasts a team of scientists, algologists and application experts who develop innovative, high value-added products and blends for its customers.
Naturalness, traceability and sustainable development are criteria that are widely developed at Algaia and Unipex.
