Baralan to present Last Drop System at Luxe Pack New York

At Luxe Pack New York, Baralan presents for the first time the new Last Drop System, an applicator system with push-button mechanism designed to optimize product use and reduce waste.

The new device incorporates a button-activated mechanism that allows the applicator to reach the product at the bottom of the bottle with a simple, controlled gesture.

Optimize product use and reduce waste

This solution eliminates the need to unscrew and screw the brush several times when the product is almost finished. It facilitates use, reduces product waste in the final stages and improves overall system efficiency.

This innovation stems from an analysis of actual usage patterns, where unused product remaining inside the bottle represents a loss, both in terms of formulation and packaging, » comments Maurizio Ficcadenti, R&D Manager at Baralan. « We have transformed this critical problem into a practical, immediate technical solution that can be integrated into existing industrial processes. "

This innovation also responds to the growing consumer focus on waste reduction, particularly in the make-up segment, where residual product often represents a significant problem. The system allows maximum use of the formula, contributing to more efficient and conscious consumption.

Flexible application and adaptability to different applicators

The system is designed to ensure flexible application and adaptability to different types of applicators, including nail polish brushes, lip brushes, mascara, concealer and other make-up solutions, broadening the application possibilities for brands.

The brush is also equipped with an automatic return system that retracts it into position when the cap is closed, for a cleaner, more precise and user-friendly experience, aligned with the expectations of contemporary consumers.

Polypropylene, polyethylene and glass packaging

In terms of materials, the component is made from polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PE), a design choice geared towards recyclability and simplification of end-of-life processes. This approach is in line with Baralan's ongoing commitment to developing solutions aligned with evolving European packaging regulations and brand sustainability objectives.

In this context, the solution also aligns itself with the growing trend for glass packaging in the make-up category, increasingly in demand by the market, combining advanced functionality with premium materials for a more sustainable and elevated positioning.
