The China Beauty Expo (CBE) has been postponed to a later date. A flagship show of the beauty market in Asia and a reference event in China for the entire perfumery-cosmetic sector, it was originally scheduled to take place from 19 to 21 May 2020 in Shanghai.
"This difficult but necessary decision to postpone the event was made in consultation with key participants, associations and stakeholders. In the context of Covid-19, several international companies are unable to participate in the event due to country closures and travel restrictions at both the government level and the mandate of major brands and suppliers. In addition, we understand that the continuing uncertainty about the ability of exhibitions to take place in May in Shanghai adds additional stress and concern to our exhibitors. Combined with the slow recovery of the beauty retail sector, these factors contributed to the decision to postpone the event to a later date, which will allow normality and confidence to return to the market, ease travel restrictions and offer better general terms of participation to exhibitors and visitors,"the organizers said.
China Beauty Expo is to host more than 3,500 exhibiting companies and more than 10,000 brands covering the entire supply chain from beauty products to finished products.
