REN Clean Skincare ceases operations

The Unilever Group announced on Thursday 1er The REN Clean Skincare cosmetics brand will close its doors for good on May 2025. The pioneering clean beauty brand will cease trading by the end of the third quarter of 2025.

"Following a period of collective consultation, we have made the difficult decision to take formal steps to wind down REN's operations. A combination of internal factors, compounded by the market challenges of recent years, has rendered the brand incapable of sustaining its long-term success." said Unilever in a press release.

The Dutch food and cosmetics giant had acquired the British brand, known for its natural, eco-friendly skincare products, in 2015.
