Fashion and Beauty: GL events – Cosmetic Valley Partnership

The first implementation is expected in early September in Première Vision Paris. The event, held at Paris Nord Villepinte, is set to host an initial selection of creative beauty companies gathered in a dedicated space called Cosmetic Village.

From September 1 to 3, Première Vision Paris will be held at Paris Nord Villepinte. Following the merger between the GL events Fashion Division and Cosmetic Valley, the trade show plans to open a Cosmetic Village bringing together players in the creative beauty industry. «Fashion companies are operating in a rapidly changing environment that is prompting them to rethink their growth models and identify new avenues for growth. The convergence of fashion and beauty is fully in line with this trend.», says Florence Rousson, Chair of the Executive Board of Première Vision and Managing Director of the Fashion Division at GL events.

Structured pathways between French academic programs

Both organizations state that they aim to foster exchanges between their respective networks and encourage the development of collaborations linking creativity, industry, and entrepreneurship. The partnership highlights challenges common to both sectors: the transformation of value chains, sustainability, industrial sovereignty, the appeal of specialized expertise, and international development. The lines between fashion and beauty are blurring, with fashion brands expanding into beauty and cosmetics companies finding new areas for collaboration. «The cosmetics and fashion industries, the jewels of the French creative sector, share not only challenges but also common values. This collaboration aims to create conditions conducive to the emergence of new projects—genuine opportunities for growth and global influence—in an international context where it is more important than ever to be competitive and innovative.», says Christophe Masson, CEO of Cosmetic Valley.

Première Vision Paris notes that the creation of this Cosmetic Village builds on the beauty-focused sections already featured in its inspiration forums, providing a dedicated space for participating exhibitors starting with the September edition.
