Gericke announces Floveyor disc elevators

Gericke has been distributing Floveyor aeromechanical disc conveyors for over 30 years.

Designed to lift powders or granulates at high flow rates, these elevators are based on the movement of disks mounted on a cable moving in a conveying tube. For example, in a 100 mm diameter tube, it is possible to achieve a throughput of 25 T/h over a 10-meter elevation.

The largest model in the Floveyor range can achieve flows of 100 T/h over a 20-meter elevation.

Widely used for filling or emptying silos, bulk trucks, big-bags or bags, for example, this technology offers multiple advantages, according to Gericke: they consume little energy, are totally sealed, and preserve the quality of the products conveyed. Low noise levels are another advantage.

Different configurations are available for handling food, chemical or mineral products.
