Gilles Droit was elected Chairman of the Febea Board of Directors at the organization's General Meeting held in Paris on April 4, 2024.
Febea, the French federation of beauty companies, brings together nearly 350 French beauty and well-being companies (perfumery, make-up, skincare, hygiene, toiletry and hair care products), including 82 % VSEs and SMEs.
President of the Syndicat Français de la Parfumerie (SFP), Gilles Droit has been Vice-President France & Benelux at Puig for the past seven years. An MBA graduate from the Burgundy School of Business (BSB), he previously worked for Hermès (2006-2016) as international director of the perfume business, then as general manager of the Latin America zone for Hermès Sellier. He began his career at Yves Saint Laurent Parfums (1989-2000), working on Travel Retail markets in Asia and then on European markets. He then co-founded Selective Beauty in 2000.
For his part, Emmanuel Guichard remains Febea's Chief Executive Officer, responsible for the smooth running of the federation's services and representation, for which he acts as spokesman.
Gilles Droit succeeds Didier Martin, President of the Eugène Perma Group.
