Nuon Medical Technology offers a wide range of technologies, from phototherapy and microcurrents to ultrasonic vibrations and advanced heating elements. The Dutch company has offices in Miami, Rotterdam, Shenzen and New Delhi. Soon to be established in France, it has an R&D center in the Netherlands and factories in India and China.
Known for its large-scale medical devices, it has now miniaturized them for cosmetic applications. "Nuon is part of an international group specializing in the manufacture of beauty and medical devices. With almost 20 years' experience in this market, Nuon's idea is to create applicators with technologies (LEDs, microcurrent, vibration...), which will enable major brands in these industries to bring innovation and technology directly to cosmetic products, in order to differentiate themselves, be innovative and above all perform better for users of these products, explains Gregory Pays, Development Manager at Nuon. We launched our cosmetics business in January 2024. We revealed our concept at Beauty Accelerate in Los Angeles, then at Cosmoprof and Luxe Pack. We'll be at London Packaging Week in early September, then in Monaco at the end of September to showcase our expertise."
Nuon's technology applicators add clinical benefits to containers. Nuon offers, for example, a skin care applicator that combines the benefits of microcurrent massage and LED light therapy. This advanced applicator fits directly onto standard cosmetic tubes, enabling precise and effective application of eye creams and serums. The microcurrent massage effect not only optimizes the absorption and efficacy of skin care products, but also transforms routine treatments into a comfortable, luxurious experience. Gold-plated charging contact points simplify recharging and enhance durability.
Nuon is also behind a multifunctional skincare solution designed to enhance a beauty routine. Featuring functions such as light therapy and vibration massage, it enables a complete approach to skincare via an applicator. Three LED light therapy lamps, cleverly integrated behind transparent lenses, offer targeted therapy to rejuvenate the delicate eye area. There's also a gentle vibration massage to enhance skin absorption of the eye cream. Charging is trouble-free thanks to wireless functionality, facilitated by metal electrodes strategically placed on the lid and base of the eye cream. Inspired by the sleek aesthetics of the smart skirt, the eye cream's handle ensures both ergonomic comfort and elegant sophistication.
