Cadrat d'Or competition
The Cadrat d'Or competition, organized by the ITAB with the support of the Ecole Estienne, is the oldest and most prestigious competition in the French printing industry. Recognized in the graphics industry as the most famous, the most glorious and the most respectable of all the prizes awarded by the profession, each year since 1956 it has rewarded a French printer (whatever their size or printing process(es)) for the quality and technical excellence of their work.
At Graphitec on June 1, the ITAB awarded its 61st Cadrat d'Or to Labelys Etiqroll, which was competing for the first time.
This is the second time since the trophy was created that a label printer has been honored.
Twelve applications were entered in this year's competition. "Etiqroll was chosen in the second round of voting.
by a majority of 6 votes to 4 votes for another printer to receive the prize".
The printing company won over the jury with a portfolio of highly technical self-adhesive labels (high-precision embossing, nesse of gilding, velvet e ets...). Remarkable expertise!
