Launch of ozmi, the first complete digital platform for the creation of cosmetic products

ozmi, the first complete, easy-to-use digital platform for cosmetics creation, is now available to beauty and skincare professionals.
The first platform launched by German start-up Chemster GmbH, ozmi is a digital ecosystem of integrated services open to all players in the cosmetics industry, designed to reduce the difficulties involved in creating new cosmetic products, while offering brands and suppliers an intuitive user experience.

"ozmi aims to offer innovative brands and solution providers an indispensable tool that enables them to create cosmetic products faster and easier," says Udo Eberlein, CEO of Chemster. He adds: "ozmi takes the complexity out of the creation process, and is a truly trusted partner throughout the value chain."

"The beauty and personal care sector is a fragmented industry where information is often unclear or unavailable," he explains. Consumer behavior and demands have transformed product cycles. Today, the consumerization of business also affects the field of cosmetics creation. Industry players expect a technology application for professional use to be as easy and convenient to use as those used in everyday life. With ozmi's transparent approach and user-friendly navigation, we are meeting this demand.

On ozmi, users can find ingredients, formulations and packagingfor cosmetic products, establish partnerships with suppliers, manage projects and receive advice so they don't run into unforeseen difficulties in the design process. And in order to ensure that users' data remains secure and under their exclusive control, ozmi fully complies with European legislation, particularly those relating to RGPD.

Features available today :

  • Simplified search for formulations, ingredients, suppliers and packaging, with filters and detailed results.
  • Collaboration between users: easier contact during the tendering process, basic materials and services at every stage of the project.
  • Project management tools that provide advice from briefing to formula creation.

ozmi's functionality will continue to evolve. According to Udo Eberlein, the platform will take the next step by offering additional functionalities based on user demand: "We're constantly working to make ozmi even more user-friendly. Companies achieve better results when they pool all their projects with their partners on ozmi. This considerably reduces their time-to-market and increases their competitiveness," he concludes.

The international roll-out of ozmi will be gradual, starting with Europe.
