Eurofragance innovates with Olivante, a natural ingredient made from recycled olive pulp. This raw material will appeal to lovers of both Western and Oriental fragrances.
Eurofragance, a Spanish composition house, has unveiled Olivante, a novel perfumery ingredient launched at Beautyworld Middle East. Made from olive residue, Olivante adds a subtle opulence without the heaviness often associated with similar ingredients. Belén Garcia, Master Perfumer at Eurofragance, observes that « in recent years, we have seen a real craze among Western consumers for perfumes from the Middle East ». This new raw material embodies this trend, capturing the powerful aromas of leather and oud that are prized on the world market.
An eco-responsible manufacturing process
For the production of Olivante, Eurofragance has implemented a natural 100 % process, in close collaboration with the Spanish olive oil industry. Felipe San, R&D Manager at Eurofragance, points out that « the very specific terroir and climatic conditions of a Spanish region are decisive for this project ». This meticulous research has enabled us to transform oleaginous residues into a unique fragrant ingredient.
Olivante is not limited to fine fragrances; it also has promising potential for skincare products and home fragrances. The market could therefore benefit from this exclusive ingredient, which combines innovative olfactory nuances with a concern for sustainable production.
