Based in Occitanie since 1962 and operating in 130 countries, Pierre Fabre Laboratories generate revenue of 3.2 billion euros, of which 71 % comes from international operations. The group employs 10,000 people, including 38 % in Occitanie, making it the region’s third-largest industrial employer.
2026 Awards: 49 French Companies on the List of Winners
The group has joined the ranks of the 49 French companies that received the certification in 2026. In this regard, Guillaume Detournmignies, a Deloitte partner in charge of the Best Managed Companies program, stated: «We are proud to count Pierre Fabre Laboratories among the companies recognized as Best Managed Companies, alongside exemplary, innovative, and resilient organizations that exemplify the excellence and dynamism of the French economy.».
Governance and R&D: Course Remains on Track
The Pierre Fabre Foundation holds 86 % of the group’s capital and is recognized as a public-benefit organization. Recent overall performance has been marked by a 70 % increase in R&D investments over five years, with the majority dedicated to targeted therapies in oncology. «Receiving the Best Managed Companies designation is a significant honor for our company. A program led by Deloitte Canada and rolled out globally
The program «Best Managed Companies», founded by Deloitte Canada Launched in France in 2021, the program has been in existence for more than thirty years. It operates in more than 46 countries and brings together more than 1,300 companies. In France, it notably recognizes large mid-sized companies.
