A blend of green melon, lily of the valley, and orange blossom
The fragrance opens with a watery green melon accord blended with floral lily-of-the-valley, gradually releasing notes of green fruit and orange blossom. The sensation of cleanliness, freshness, and naturalness lasts for several days. The manufacturer notes that the formulation is suitable for shampoos and other hair care products, and that it has demonstrated effectiveness in fabric care.
The development was based on a research program inspired by natural mechanisms and guided by Givaudan's perfumers. «We've captured fresh, green scents in a precursor structure; this easy-to-work-with material helps create distinctive signatures and delivers long-lasting freshness in hair, beauty, and fabric care.», explains Agnes Bombrun, head of ingredient research at Fragrance S&T, Givaudan.
The material meets current consumer expectations. The group also aligns Aquamelon with its objective «Fragrance and Beauty» a fully biodegradable pallet by 2030.
