The Wauters Group, a key player in the luxury packaging sector, has introduced a unique governance model based on three-way collaboration. This system aims to reinforce innovation and the durability of know-how, while integrating realities on the ground.
Since the creation of its holding company in 2015, the Wauters Group has moved towards a governance model consisting of three managers. Éric and Thierry Wauters, representing the fourth family generation, collaborate with Rachel Praicheux, President of B.Pack. This trio embodies a distinct balance that combines industrial heritage with field expertise, reinforcing the group's capacity for innovation.
Active, responsive governance
The three-way decision-making structure ensures that every issue is addressed collectively, avoiding the status quo. A monthly steering committee stimulates decision-making and enables strategies to be rapidly adapted in response to market dynamics. This ensures that decisions are taken in the light of real challenges in the field, enriching the Group's overall strategy.
The governance model is based on an ambitious raison d'être: to create high-end packaging that enhances exceptional products. The Wauters Group is positioned as a manufacturer of luxury packaging, combining craftsmanship and innovation in a way that respects the environment. Production sites are certified to several standards, including the Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant label, attesting to the quality and excellence of French know-how, particularly in gilding and embossing.
This requirement is also reflected in concrete commitments to sustainable development, supported by certifications such as EcoVadis Platinum and FSC. The Group is thus committed to a dynamic of social and societal responsibility, while respecting the specific features of each production site to ensure effective complementarity.
