Clarins presents its first refillable jar produced by Albea Cosmetics & Fragrance

As part of its commitment to sustainable development, Clarins has entrusted Albea Cosmetics & Fragrance with its new eco-designed packaging.

Albéa Cosmetics & Fragrance is involved in Clarins' first-ever refillable jar, producing the cap and cup for Crème Extra-Firming [Collagen]³ Technology.

Manufactured at the Albéa Simandre plant in France, the group's center of excellence for packaging and metallization of skincare products, the cap is made from recycled, metallized PET with a pearlescent finish, while the cup is made from tinted virgin PP. Both parts are bi-injected, for a high-quality finish.

This new eco-designed packaging required over two years of research and development. Refilling a cream twice reduces the environmental footprint by 84%*.
