Cosmatagora 2018, Gattefossé takes on a new challenge

The 10th edition of Cosmetagora is an opportunity for Gattefossé to launch its brand new Inspiration concept.
Providing pleasure, surprise and motivation, this tool has a real objective of awakening creativity and innovation, and aims to bring a breath of fresh air to the various players in the cosmetics industry. For years, the company has been creating ever more innovative textures in its laboratories, in order to inject ideas for formulas into its customers' developments.

For 2018, Gattefossé offers three themes, between trend and inspiration, which make up a collection of 8 formulas.

As every year, Gattefossé also takes part in the competition for the Formulation Prize: 10 years, 10 ingredients. Gattefossé presents a texture, simple but no less simplistic, in which all its know-how as a formulator has been put at the service of sensoriality.

About this new "Inspiration" tool

Inspiration is built around a series of themes that will give new ideas to formulators, enabling them to reinvent cosmetics by showing, for example, new ways of using Gattefossé ingredients.
These themes have varying degrees of originality to meet different creative needs and expectations.
The original, innovative formulas in these themes enable brands to discover new textures and generate new ideas for future launches.
These textures are perfect for revealing Gattefossé lipochemical ingredients outside their comfort zones and used in other applications.

The themes and formulas of this 2018 edition

This year, Inspiration will feature three themes: Move it, Be fresh and Think twice:
Move it aims to accompany the routine of sporty consumers who want to get and stay fit and healthy; Be fresh is inspired by the cold and reinvents freshness through innovative textures; and Think twice speaks of illusions and trompe-l'œil thanks to unexpected galenics.

8 innovative formulations will be presented: "Coco Sweat", an anti-perspiration powder that must be diluted in water, "Ice, Ice, Baby", a day cream as fresh as an ice cube, or "Liquid Balm", whose name is evocative enough to understand that its sensoriality will surprise.
