The Cosmetic, Measurement & Testing congress confirms the arrival of Artificial Intelligence in testing.

Co-organized by the Cosmetic Valley competitiveness cluster and the University of CY Cergy Paris University, the 4th International Congress on Cosmetic Measurements and Tests (CO. ME. T) brings together 200 leading researchers and equipment manufacturers in the field of testing, measurement and objectivity of product interactions with skin and hair.

The congress takes place over two days around 4 major current themes:

  1. From raw material to finished products. New evaluation methods capable of analyzing and controlling cosmetic materials, from raw materials to the finished product.
  2. Skin-product-environment interactions. How can new in-vitro, in vivo and ex-vivo skin models detect and characterize particles in tissues?
  3. Instrumentation and sensory evaluation. From physical measurement to cognitive science, how to optimize the product at an early stage, before the panel tests?
  4. Smart and connected beauty tools for personalization. The latest advances in AI and smart tools that can be adapted and developed for cosmetic science, for diagnostic purposes.

The congress brings together the most recognized specialists in measurement and cosmetics, including four speakers who will speak on the main themes during the plenary sessions before the 21 oral communications of the congress.

Two prizes will reward the 35 posters proposed for the congress:

Young Researcher Award from CERGY Paris University and Cosmetic Valley (1000 €)

Innovation Prize awarded by the Cergy-Pontoise Agglomeration Community (1000€)
