Sériplast: single- and double-compartment resealable packaging samples

Sériplast, a French SME specializing in packaging injection and decoration, has been manufacturing and printing plastic packaging for leading cosmetics brands since 1966. In 2008, the company launched a new concept in polypropylene breakaway ampoules.

In 2025, at Paris Packaging Week on January 28 and 29, the company will be presenting two versions of this flagship product: a resealable packaging sample and a resealable double-compartment sample.

These packaging solutions meet the same challenge: to find a perfect seal that separates the ampoule head and body and, despite the thin wall, avoids any risk of leakage. All this while ensuring perfect resealability.

The main advantage of this resealability is the possibility of offering a head that integrates a gloss-type stem, a spatula or a dropper. Use is very simple: the consumer begins by breaking off the bulb head.

In the case of the double-compartment ampoule developed specifically for Clarins (1.2 ml capacity), the user pours the products into the palm of his hand and can close the ampoule by clipping on the head. Compartment 1 is sealed from compartment 2 by the head's central skirt.

In the case of the ampoule with integrated stems, the specific application (gloss, serum, mascara, cream, etc.) guides the user, who can then close the ampoule by clipping the head on for later use.

Dropper, spatula, brush or brush: the choice of applicator is plural. The "Signature" range of innovative, modular single-material packs is available in three formats: 1.5 ml, 3 ml and 5 ml. Recyclable and durable, it meets the growing demand for a smaller environmental footprint, while guaranteeing quality and practicality.

New investments

Sériplast never stops innovating... and investing. In 2024, the company extended its injection workshop by 480 m2, installed four additional injection presses (two 200-ton and two 150-ton, in addition to the 22 existing presses) and acquired robots. This investment is designed to meet demand for ampoule, roll-on and bottle production.

The SME has also reached a new milestone with the acquisition of a state-of-the-art lacquering line, which will go into production in March 2025. "We invested in this innovative solution to guarantee our customers short lead times and unrivalled flexibility. This project is in line with our development strategy, which focuses on luxury and impeccable quality. It's a new step that confirms our company's role as a complete and innovative packaging player, combining technical expertise and strategic vision to meet the expectations of a market in the throes of transformation".says Kévin Cènes Tartaglione, Managing Director of Sériplast.
