With a market share of 18 %, Weleda France, a subsidiary of the international Swiss group and a major player in natural and organic health and cosmetics, has climbed to the top of the natural and organic anti-aging cosmetics segment, according to data from the Gie Gers organization cited by the company, thanks to its two recent ranges "Gentiane bleue & Edelweiss" and "Grenade & Peptides de Maca".1.
The "Gentiane Bleue & Edelweiss" anti-aging skin care range, for example, has grown by +131% since its launch in September 2023, to become the #1 day cream in the natural and organic segment, according to Gie Gers data.2.
Previously, Weleda had made a breakthrough in spring 2023 with its "Pomegranate & Maca Peptides" anti-aging range, whose day cream is contributing to market growth.
