Gattefossé Asia Pacific obtains ISO9001 version 2015 certification

Gattefossé announces that its Singapore-based subsidiary Gattefossé Asie Pacifique has obtained ISO9001 version 2015 certification, the international standard that sets out the requirements for a quality management system.

For many years now, Gattefossé has had a quality management system in place for its Saint-Priest site (France), and this certification in Singapore represents the start of a process designed to extend the quality perimeter to the whole Group, in line with the company's strategy.
For Gattefossé Asia Pacific, this certification applies to the promotion and marketing of specialty ingredients and formulation solutions for the health and beauty industries worldwide, as well as to the control of operations with its partners. Production operations with its partner Faci are also ISO9001: 2015 and Good Manufacturing Practice certified.
Issued by certification body SGS as of December 12, 2017, it is part of a continuous improvement objective to satisfy the requirements of customers and other interested parties and comply with expected quality standards. This management and continuous improvement tool involves maintaining the systems in place, constantly monitoring and renewing objectives to be more efficient and seek better performance at all levels of the company.
The latest version of the standard, published in September 2015, reinforces the consideration of corporate strategy in the quality approach, integrates risk analysis of all processes and opportunity analysis taking into account the external environment.

"This initiative testifies to Gattefossé's determination to have a truly international quality management system, and to guarantee all our customers that we listen attentively to their needs and provide a high level of operational control. It is also a sign of our ongoing quest for continuous improvement throughout the Group". explains Jean-Pierre LAFORET, Group Director of Industrial Operations at Gattefossé.
