Blisters, commonly used to package eye patches, now have an eco-responsible alternative. Lessonia, a European specialist in sheet masks and cosmetic patches, has developed an innovative pouch, made from monomaterials and 100 % recyclable. This innovation is protected by an exclusive patent.
Traditional blister packs are polluting, made from complex, non-recyclable materials. Lessonia's monomaterial pouch, on the other hand, combines recyclability with high-end personalization. The bag's design possibilities and finishes are comparable to those of traditional non-recyclable bags.
A wide range of eye patches in a durable format
Lessonia offers its eye patches in this new packaging with three supports:
- Biocellulose: a premium material with a second-skin effect.
- Filmalginate: a film-forming gel carrier
- Ice Crystal: an ultra-transparent substrate with an icy effect.
With its modern, fully-automated production facilities, Lessonia boasts an annual production capacity of over 40 million sheet masks, eye patches and lip patches at its plant in Brittany. "This exceptional capacity guarantees optimized lead times, consistent quality and relocation in line with the expectations of brands wishing to promote Made in France."the company says.
With this innovative packaging, Lessonia aims to support brands in their ecological transition and their quest for quality.
