La Phocéenne de Cosmétique acquires the Lovéa brand

Buoyed by strong growth (+47% in sales from 2015 to 2016), La Phocéenne de Cosmétique, best known for its Petit Olivier brand, is now acquiring the Lovéa brand.
This acquisition will strengthen La Phocéenne de Cosmétique's position in an extremely competitive market, dominated by a handful of giants. The new entity benefits from the pooling of know-how, research and development, and production methods. Thanks to this alliance, La Phocéenne de Cosmétique is extending its skincare range to include suncare products.
The acquisition of the Lovéa brand by La Phocéenne de Cosmétique brings together two French areas of expertise. Producing in France means optimal quality control throughout the entire production chain.
Finally, this operation will safeguard 80 jobs, 40 in Revel (Haute-Garonne) and 40 in Millery (Rhône).
