Eviosys, Grown.Bio and Verescence are teaming up to create an eco-friendly gift box that includes 100% recyclable and refillable glass bottles, a 100% compostable insert made from mushrooms, and a metal box that can be reused and recycled indefinitely.
Three leading manufacturers in the world of packaging have come together to create a 100% recyclable and reusable gift box for the perfumery and cosmetics industry. Eviosys, Grown.Bio and Verescence have pooled their expertise to develop a set of innovative products that guarantee true sustainability, thus shaping the face of tomorrow's cosmetic packaging.
This collaboration responds to a constant demand for customization in the market; consumers are looking for tailor-made, unique and planet-friendly products. The limited edition box includes 100% recyclable and reusable glass bottles, carbon negative packaging inserts made from mushrooms and a fully reusable and infinitely recyclable metal box.
The three partners are committed to meeting five key objectives in their packaging, which are at the heart of this new cosmetic concept: refusing non-environmentally friendly options, rethinking the cosmetic box, reducing the weight of the packaging, reusing and recycling.
Packaging manufacturer Eviosys, which supplies the metal box, has adapted its original product to harmonize with the mushroom-based insert and Verescence glass bottles. Enclosures made from recycled metal can be preserved and reused for decades for other domestic uses, ensuring the circularity of the process. At the end of the product's life cycle, 100% of the material used is recycled to form a new metal without any loss of quality.

Manufacturers of gift boxes for perfumery-cosmetics often use plastic or paper inserts that are not durable in the very long term. Grown.Bio's mushroom packaging, made solely from mycelium – the root structure of mushrooms and agricultural by-product, offers endless possibilities for use. Natural and carbon negative, it can be crumbled and mixed with soil to serve as fertilizer.

Pioneer of eco-design solutions for luxury glass bottles, Verescence presents its new Range of Cara high perfumery, available with a new standard screw neck (GPI 15 400), offering the possibility for the consumer to refill the bottle at home or in store. The range also includes mini-size bottles for perfume (spray, roll-on), skincare (oil, fixing spray) and premium makeup (concealer, gloss, cream eye shadow). Since September 2021, all the standards of The Verescence Collection are produced with 20% PCR, i.e. glass from the local collection of household waste.
